Scottish Ballet is seeking a dynamic individual to work as part of our Advancement team. You will be part of an exceptional organisation, delivering key fundraising outcomes that support Scottish Ballet’s vision and strategic outcomes.

In 2019 Scotland’s national dance company is celebrating 50 years of inspiring audiences on stage and beyond, with a creative vision crafted by Scotland. Based in Glasgow, Scottish Ballet tours nationally, throughout the UK and internationally. Scottish Ballet’s broad repertoire includes new versions of the classics and ground-breaking commissions, as well as an innovative digital season every two years and an extensive engagement programme tailored to the needs of diverse communities.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy and working closely with the Head of Commercial Sponsorship, you will strengthen and build upon our existing private patron and Friends, sponsors and Charitable Trust relationships, and identify, research and strategically cultivate new relationships. Travel to attend events and performances across Scotland, the UK and occasionally beyond, will be required.

The successful applicant for this position will have a proven track record of working in a holistic fundraising role. They will be a skilled communicator, articulate, enthusiastic, have excellent interpersonal skills and have a genuine passion for the arts. The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise appropriately, along with CRM experience, is vital to this role. The Advancement Officer should be able to work effectively as part of a team and under their own initiative.
