An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Young Patrons Executive to play a key role in the design, implementation and delivery of a new Young Patrons Programme at the National Gallery.

The Young Patrons Programme will be a benefit led programme designed to engage and involve a younger donor base with the work of the National Gallery. The post holder will have the opportunity to build on existing strategic work undertaken to make our vision for a Young Patrons Programme a reality.

In collaboration with the Patrons Manager, the Young Patrons Executive will create a year-round events programme for Young Patrons which aligns with the existing two Patrons tiers, the George Beaumont Group and the George Beaumont Circle, and partner with new and existing influencers who will play a fundamental role in the success of the programme. They will work closely with the Patrons Manager, Patrons Officer and Patrons Assistant, as well as the wider Trusts and Individual Giving Team, and will play an important role in ensuring that the team meets its ambitious fundraising targets.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working on a successful Patrons or membership scheme, ideally within an arts environment, and will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with Patrons, donors or members. The ability to think creatively and strategically is essential in order to design a successful programme which is enticing to young arts enthusiasts.
