An exciting opportunity has opened up in our marketing team to job share a fantastic role focussed on engaging with schools and learners of all ages across the UK. This is a flexible job share at 2 days a week based in Swindon, Bristol or home based.

English Heritage cares for over 400 historic monuments, buildings and sites. Through these, we bring the story of England to life for over 10 million visitors each year. Our free education visits programme and award winning expert-led Discovery Visits provide unique and memorable learning experiences for thousands of school pupils across the country. We want to continue to grow awareness of the rich education experience we offer through our sites and activities and increase the numbers of school children we engage with.

This is a great opportunity to market and promote our education visits offer and inspire the educational leaders that bring their students to visit our properties every year, providing them with lasting memories of their school trip.

You'll be part of an enthusiastic and motivated team reporting to our National Education Marketing Manager, and working closely with our Education Visits Officers and Learning Team who are responsible for educational programmes and resources at our properties.

Your role will be focused on creating and delivering engaging marketing campaigns in order to engage with teachers and educational leaders. You'll be marketing directly to teachers, schools and other education providers, using a variety of on and offline channels including social media to develop and implement engaging campaigns throughout the year.

You will have experience of creating engaging campaign content and delivering informative education marketing campaigns with cut-through using the full marketing mix across owned, paid for, on and offline channels; all based on insight of the relevant audiences you are aiming to reach.

As the role involves working collaboratively across many departments and building relationships with potential partners, you'll have a natural ability to work with a wide range of people with persuasiveness and sensitivity.

Bringing great energy and expertise to the job, you'll be helping thousands of young people to enjoy an exciting, inspiring encounter with England's fascinating past.

The job requires the post-holder to keep in regular contact and attend meetings with the wider Learning Team and Marketing Team as well as external agencies, so you will need to be willing to undertake regular travel and work from other offices and sites as required.
