Bristol Old Vic is seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as Individual Giving Manager. Reporting to the Head of Development and working in Bristol Old Vic’s fast-paced and highly motivated Development team, the Individual Giving Manager is responsible for developing and delivering a strategy to support significant growth of income from individuals for the organisation’s revenue needs and special projects.

This new full time position will suit a person capable of working within a high-pressured environment, with a proven track record in securing major gifts across a diverse portfolio of giving.

You must have a talent for soliciting face to face asks, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be looking to develop your existing experience and expertise in professional fundraising within an arts environment.

The role includes but is not limited to the following key areas of responsibility:

- Identifying and initiating approaches and securing gifts from agreed individuals

- Building a pipeline of new individual prospects, putting in place and implementing a plan of high-level, highly targeted fundraising and cultivation events

- Managing and refining a unified Donor programme with a ladder of giving

- Developing legacy fundraising and maximising all opportunities for this

- Deputising for and representing the Head of Development as required
