Tate Enterprises Ltd. is the trading arm of Tate. Its chief areas of operation are retailing on four sites, publishing (both Tate exhibition catalogues and general art books, as well as illustrated children’s books), product development, picture library and licensing.

We are looking for two Retail Assistant's to support our retail shops at Tate Modern. We have 1x 21hr permanent position available, and 1x 35hr fixed term position until 5th January 2020 . You will work on a 4 week rota pattern. So ideally you must be able to work any day of the week. Shift times vary between 8am -4pm and 2.30pm to 10.30 pm with some other shifts, you will be expected to work a variety of shift times.

To be successful you will need to love working with the public and have experience of working in a fast-paced, busy retail environment. You will be part of a dynamic team and so will need to work well with others and display excellent communication and collaboration skills. A strong work ethic, a pro-active approach and lots of enthusiasm are a must in this position.

The role involves working morning delivery shifts, weekends and late shifts on a rota basis including weekends.

Experience with a computerised till and the ability to handle money confidently and accurately is also a requirement.
