An opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to work from our central York office proving a dedicated, professional and efficient executive support service to the Territory Director.

This is a busy and varied role in which you will act as the key contact and co-ordination point for the English Heritage employees within the northern territory working closely with senior managers and staff across the organisation; all the while ensuring that the administrative service runs smoothly.

You will support the Territory Director with developing and implementing the strategy for the North territory, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their office enabling them to use their time most effectively.

As a confident and efficient individual, you will have experience of administrative and secretarial support duties preferably in an EA role. Combining a methodical approach to work with a strong attention to detail, you will have the ability to manage a busy and varied workload, competing priorities and deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills are required, communicating internally and outside the organisation, along with IT skills across a wide range of application.

In addition, you will have experience in successfully managing and leading a small team and the ability to work with people at all levels
