Are you looking to work amongst our Museum's extensive Collection? Do you have experience using Collections Management systems and understand the importance of data quality?

One Collection is the Science Museum Group's major strategic initiative to re-imagine how our world-leading collection is cared for, accessed and shared.

As part of this project, we are looking for a Documentation Assistant to ensure our objects and their records are accurately catalogued, whilst ensuring the data we hold is captured correctly and quality maintained. In addition, you will review supporting material and work from associated information sources to produce enhanced records.

You will have the ability to be self-motivated and proactive, have worked in a Documentation team in a Museum collection, and have an eye for detail. You will also need experience of using Collection Management systems.
