Employer: Natural History Museum
Salary: £28,735
Location: London

The Natural History Museum is one of the world’s leading museums, internationally recognised for its dual role as a centre of excellence in scientific research and as a leader in the presentation of natural history through exhibitions, public programmes, publications and the web.

As our Administrator and Research Executive, you will play a crucial operational role in ensuring the smooth running of the Museum’s scientific advisory and technical services business, NHM Consulting - which includes research for industry, scientific imaging and analysis, environmental assessment work and strategic advice and professional development for diverse governmental and commercial clients.

This is a wide-ranging remit covering general and financial administration, logistics support, frontline customer service and business marketing activities.

We are looking for a highly capable administrator, ideally with experience in a commercial environment who is able to co-ordinate diverse activities within a small, dynamic, fast-paced team. You will have the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships across the Museum and beyond. Additionally, you will bring strong research skills to the role and be able to manage wide-ranging enquiries that will inform new product and service development.
