Administrator
Employer: English Heritage
Salary: 20,218
Location: Bristol

Support like yours isn't easy to come by, and we will depend on it. As part of English Heritage, we perform vital work in helping protect and promote England's spectacular heritage.

You will love and have plenty of enthusiasm for administration. Working as part of a small team, you will contribute by providing comprehensive and high calibre administrative support ranging from diary management, organising meetings, coordinating travel arrangements and taking meeting minutes (speed writing and fast accurate typing are essential). Some financial administration is required such as reconciling expenses, setting up suppliers and raising purchase orders.

As part of our team, you will provide a confident first point of contact for internal clients and external contractors via our Helpdesk; this will involve working proactively to help resolve maintenance issues at our historic sites effectively, escalate appropriately, as well as capturing data on our bespoke database. You will need to be able to think on your feet and work under pressure.

In addition, you will be extremely well-organised and able to prioritise a varied workload, providing great service supporting teams across a broad range of disciplines based over a number of locations. Team working, flexibility and the use of initiative all feature highly on our list of requirements, as well as experience of managing conflicting priorities and working to tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail is also an essential part of this role.
