We are looking for an exceptional individual to manage the delivery plan of a multifunctional curatorial, research and library team for the Science Museum, ensuring the allocation of resources so that the team are effective and efficient in their delivery of gallery, exhibition, online, research, publication, collections review and moves projects. A strong people manager, you will ensure that the Science Museum continues to be a vibrant and dynamic space for understanding, interpreting and questioning the history of and contemporary science, technology and medicine, bringing exciting and challenging experiences to diverse audiences.

You will oversee the allocation of resources and report on the activities of the curatorial, research and library teams, supporting the museum's strategic priorities and guaranteeing all aspects of the delivery of our Curatorial, Research and Library activities. You will be the first point of contact for requests from other key departments, ensuring the allocation and effective use of team resources. Working closely with the Science Museum Head of Collections and Principal Curator and the Collections Senior Management team, you will manage the allocation of curatorial and research resource to ensure that team projects support the Science Museum Group strategic priorities.

You will line manage Exhibition Project Curators, and collaborate with colleagues to define and own a delivery plan to coordinate the scope and sequence of curatorial projects and research activities. You will work with others to collate information on curatorial and research project delivery, identifying dependencies and risks.
