Digital Project Manager

Digital Project Manager
Employer: Imperial War Museum
Salary: £34,000
Location: London

Imperial War Museums (IWM) are recruiting to the new role of digital project manager on a 22 month fixed term contract to manage digital projects. Reporting to the assistant director for digital transformation you will play a key role in our ambitious multi-year digital investment programme, which aims to transform our digital customer experience and our internal effectiveness.

You will manage a range of projects within our programme including membership digital development, digital ticket sales, a single online shopping basket and mobile development. As well as user-facing digital functionality the projects will involve significant systems integration including a new middleware system and our Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

You will help specify project scope and objectives, the technical solution and business requirements and user stories. You will manage project delivery through a range of external suppliers and a small number of internal technical staff, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and to deliver business benefits.

You will work to a hybrid waterfall-agile project management methodology and must have experience in both approaches and a recognised qualification in at least one.

You will be supported in your work by an in-house team including a business analyst, user experience designer, head of CRM and IT head of technical platforms, and externally by a partner agency who will bring strategic oversight and technical delivery expertise.
