This is a unique opportunity for you to work at Apsley House, home of the Duke of Wellington. It houses one of the finest art collections in London, with paintings by Velazquez and Rubens, as well as a wonderful collection of silver and porcelain.

This is a part time seasonal contract, of 1 day a week minimum offered, though there is a strong possibility of increasing hours if you wish, as there will be occasions that this can extend to cover work events and holiday leave as required.

Apsley House is entering a very exciting time, with extended opening hours, new exhibitions and events, this is a chance to be a part of that by joining a enthusiastic team.

Providing a warm welcome to a diverse range of visitors to this historic site, you will ensure they have relevant information for their visit and about the wider local environment. Whether it's cleaning the site at the end of the day to keep it looking its best, selling a guide book or simply building rapport with visitors, you will discover no two days are the same. You will be part of an organisation that is committed to ensuring our visitors leave having had a great experience and believe in a great team environment.

We are looking for people who are committed to providing the very highest levels of customer service, achieving targets and enjoy being part of a busy team with constantly changing priorities. As a confident communicator, you will be comfortable engaging with customers and using your skills in sales to provide exceptional service at all times.

You'll find it's a workplace like no other - taking you behind the scenes of these extraordinary sites and supporting you to share your ideas, inspire others and make a difference.
