We are looking for an organised individual with an entrepreneurial spirit focused on excellent customer service to join our small, dynamic and busy team.

South Asian Arts-uk (SAA-uk) is an innovative organisation based in Leeds, established in 1997. We are renowned for excellence and pushing the boundaries in how traditional and contemporary South Asian (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka) music and dance is performed, presented and experienced by participants, audiences and artists. Our artistic programme has 3 clearly defined strands: Performance, Learning and Participation and Special Projects.

The Finance & Administration Officer has lead responsibility for financial management, reporting and compliance. The successful candidate is responsible for the operational aspects of the Company and are expected to work within the legal, financial, artistic and charitable aims and requirements of the Company.

The successful candidate will highly ethical (particularly in confidentiality and professional due care), be highly organised and enjoy organising others, be confident using IT particularly Sage Line 50 and Excel, have an equally confident telephone manner and be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. You will have a clear commitment to providing excellent customer service and enjoy working in a lively, professional environment.
