The British Museum is looking to recruit a Digital Learning and Resources Manager to manage, create and deliver inspiring digital learning and social media content and communications inspired by the British Museum’s collections, for our diverse audiences.

Key areas of responsibility:

The post holder will co-ordinate with the Head of Schools and Young Audiences on the development of a new digital learning plan for the Learning & National Partnerships Department, and will put in place an action plan for the future. You will work across the Museum to develop an annual communications plan for the museum’s learning programme. You will also ensure digital and learning resources are up-to-date, accurate and reflect branding guidelines, tone and voice and accessibility requirements, and you will support the development of the teams website and continue the roll-out of the new family visual language.

Person specification:

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as digital media, digital learning, museum studies, marketing and communications or equivalent experience, the successful candidate would have experience of developing and delivering digital learning programmes/projects and resources for target audiences. With experience in producing and editing professional online content and publications, you will have experience of managing small projects, and will be an imaginative and engaging communicator.
