Science Resources (Science Administration Team, Research Coordination Office, NHM Consulting and Postgraduate Studies) provide centralised financial administrative support across Science Group, which comprises ca. 360 employees. Our aim is to reduce the financial administration burden on front line Science Group staff enabling effective delivery of our science.

The post holder will be responsible for providing administrative services including processing, monitoring and reporting of financial transactions for external-funded awards (administered by the Research Coordination Office) and core budget expenditure (administered by the Science Administration Team). Your time will be split equally between the two teams with a flexible working arrangement depending deadlines for each team.

The post holder will be expected to provide services in an effective and efficient manner; ensuring at all times that project records are accurate and up-to-date and all transactions comply with the NHM's financial regulations and those of the respective funder in the case of externally-funded projects.

The post holder will have an opportunity to learn about a wide range of funding body processes, charity financial regulations and liaise with science staff across all the disciplines in the successful delivery of the work of Science Group.
