Salary: Approx. £20,000-£30,000 per annum pro rata dependent on experience

Elbow are a small but established creative agency based in Shoreditch who work predominantly within the Heritage, Museums and Visitor Centre sectors producing audio visual installations, communications and multi-media software.

We are looking to expand our pool of Junior and Mid-weight Project Manager/Producers to work with us on a number of exciting projects with both part-time freelance and full time opportunities available.

The role will include, but is by no means limited to:

- Taking a Project Management/Producer role on our Video Production and Interactive Software projects.
- Liaising with clients directly; leading meetings and ensuring all aims, objectives and tasks have been clearly understood by all.
- Working closely with the Creative Director to deliver the final product.
- Being an integral part of the process from pitch through to delivery; helping with research, storyboards and the edit process ensuring that we are fulfilling our brief.
- Being responsible for scoping and managing project budgets, expenditure and cash flow
- Creating, implementing and monitoring project Gantt charts, with clearly defined milestones.
- Managing and directing freelancers engaged on projects; editors, designers and developers.
- Overseeing contractual negotiations with subcontractors and third party libraries.
- Undertaking day-to-day project administration
- Reporting internally to Line Manager on progress.

Core Skills:

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

- Minimum of one year's experience managing projects with a contract value of £100,000+. (Whilst experience within the digital and/or cultural sector is advantageous this position would also suit people from other backgrounds, with an interest in digital media, looking to move industries. Appropriate training will be provided.)
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing deadlines and briefs.
- A keen interest in digital production and the cultural sector
- Details focused.
- Strong time and resource management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads efficiently.
- Excellent general computer skills including MS Office.
- Experience in a client facing role.

Advantageous:

- Comprehensive understanding of the video and/or digital production process.
- Experience within the cultural/museums sectors.
- Experience with Adobe packages (eg. Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere).
- A number of our projects are based in the Middle East, so whilst not essential Arabic speaking candidates are also of particular interest.
