Salary: £32,548 to £38,833 per anum

The role holder will manage all activities involved in identifying funding streams, bidding for and accepting grants and providing ongoing support for grants activity. In addition, the role holder will work closely with Sainsbury Centre staff and other academics attached to projects as well as a wide range of administrative staff across the University and externally.

The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts is one of the most important university art galleries in Britain, with a national and international reputation as one of the UK’s principal centres for the study and presentation of art. The collections includes works dating from prehistory to the late twentieth century and a significant number of works acknowledged as seminal examples of European modern art such as Pablo Picasso, Edgar Degas, Francis Bacon, Alberto Giacometti, Henry Moore and Amedeo Modigliani.

You will be educated to degree level or possess equivalent experience, have substantial recent experience of working in a similar or transferable role and have experience of managing, leading and motivating indidivuals. Good interpersonal and IT skills, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, is also essential.
