This is a new role and you will work with our Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project Managers across the business at English Heritage to keep our historic properties, monuments and collections safe. This makes us a varied and unique place to come to work, no two days are the same so be prepared to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with some of the best views in the country.

The Professional Services Team provides specialist services support to all Estates Teams to help develop standards and to ensure quality outcomes for the routine maintenance, repair and conservation work and for the investment projects undertaken.

We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying and experience of working on maintenance and repair projects.

This role is based in Swindon but will require frequent travel to various sites.

You will need to hit the ground running and relish the opportunity to drive this new role forward for the benefit of our estates. You will be a natural team player and a confident communicator.

You will have a track record that you can demonstrate of successful procurement and some contract administration experience will also be essential.

You will already hold a BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying.

You will get full support to become chartered.
