Assistant Finance Business Partner - Commercial
Employer: The Engine House
Salary: £28-32k
Location: Swindon

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Swindon head office for an enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated communicator, to develop their financial and transferable skill set in engaging with non-Finance and Finance staff alike within the commercial department, and in ensuring the financial integrity of the Charity.

This is your opportunity to be exposed to a challenging and developing, multi-business commercial environment within a new and rapidly growing charity; enhancing your skills in the use of stock and sales systems and financial processes, as well as further enhancing your communication and presentation skills.

You will work closely with the Finance Business Partner - Commercial in monitoring and reporting the financial performance of the department, support finance colleagues in reporting the performance of the department and organisation as a whole, and support operational colleagues in decision making all with a view to helping the organisation achieve its Financial Sustainability objective.

Ideally you will be at least a part qualified CCAB accountant with experience of the compilation of UK GAAP compliant management accounts, variance analyses and the interrogation and reporting of data.

You will have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and will be experienced in the use of financial systems. Report building, some dashboard construction, and frequent ad-hoc reporting will be a requirement.

Flexibility, excellent time management and communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must, and you will be confident in problem solving and comfortable presenting financial information to non-financial colleagues.
