By joining our Education Team at Stonehenge, you will play your part in helping education visitors experience more of England's captivating past and preserve it for generations to come. This is an essential role to ensure that education visits to Stonehenge run smoothly and deliver a positive benefit to leaders and young learners. This is a unique opportunity for you to work at Stonehenge.

You will have a passion for working with Schools and Education and enjoy being a part of a busy team with constantly changing priorities. As a confident communicator, you will be comfortable building rapport with Education Leaders and Operational and Volunteer teams at Stonehenge.

As a natural problem solver you will be able to use your initiative to overcome practical issues that come up as part of working in a busy environment. You will be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of education programmes which lead to increased numbers of free education visits at Stonehenge. You will assist with promotional activity to education audiences, including visiting schools and other education providers to promote English Heritage properties as a learning resource, and deliver training events for teachers and other educators. You will be responsible for looking after the education bookings process ensuring that that all staff are aware and all necessary facilities are available for to support the education visits.

You will be a team player, with good communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service to leaders and learners. It is essential that you are comfortable prioritising your own work and meeting deadlines. A willingness to learn new skills and to assist in leading the team is also important, along with the enthusiasm for Stonehenge and English Heritage.
