The Head of Community Partnerships manages the Community Partnerships Team in working across all Museum departments to research, develop and deliver a programme of activities and learning opportunities with, and for, local communities and organisations across London, in line with the Museum’s strategic direction.

This role involves building successful relationships with local community organisations and other key partners, including local government. You will encourage new audiences to engage with the Museum and support national initiatives that aim to increase access to UK museums and galleries.

Educated to degree level, or equivalent, the ideal candidate will have experience of managing arts/heritage projects for a variety of groups and communities. With excellent project management skills, you will have strong knowledge of best practice when working with community partners in a museum context.

With an approachable and professional manner, you will be able to maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels whilst successfully managing your team. You will be able to balance multiple priorities and deadlines to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standard.
