The British Museum is recruiting for an Operations and Logistics Manager to coordinate all construction activities in connection with Capital Projects across the Museum estate in Bloomsbury and at the outstations. This is a key role for supporting the successful delivery of the Estates Capital Plan.

In this role, you will identify and drive opportunities for improving site operations and logistics efficiency and ensure that the Museum Construction Management Plan reflects project changes. The post-holder will ensure that all construction activities are managed safely and efficiently with minimum disruption to Museum staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, with membership of NEBOSH. With demonstrable experience in building construction, you will have worked in a support role within construction management or a regulatory environment. You will have proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office, including the ability to read AutoCad.

With experience of managing external contractors, you will be able to communicate and negotiate at all levels. In this role you will write clear reports and meet tight deadlines, whilst continually seeking to develop own skills and knowledge.
