We are seeking a Project Curator to provide curatorial expertise and assistance in preparing the Americas collection for the move to new purpose-built storage facilities in the World Conservation and Exhibitions Centre (WCEC).

In this role, you will complete a registration of collections scheduled to move into the WCEC, in line with agreed project deadlines. You will ensure that registration of objects is achieved to the highest standard, including geographical identification and object categorisation.

Educated to degree level, or equivalent, the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with an ethnographic collection, including object documentation processes. Strong knowledge of collections from the Americas is desirable.

We are looking for a highly organised individual, who can maintain attention to detail whilst completing projects on time and to budget. With the ability to work as part of a team, you will be an open communicator and will successfully collaborate with colleagues. Publications in peer reviewed journals is essential.
