Are you an experienced, driven, highly organised Project Manager looking for a new challenge within an award winning creative arts charity? Would you like to make a difference to the lives of children and adults who are disadvantaged and vulnerable?
Create is seeking a dynamic, energetic, people-centred individual with extensive experience of managing creative arts projects in education and community settings. You will have a passion for arts education and knowledge of the arts, together with outstanding interpersonal, negotiation and organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively, persuasively and empathetically. You will have worked with a variety of different groups of vulnerable people (eg: prison inmates, homeless people, young carers, vulnerable women, older people). As Create continues to develop its work over the coming years, the job may involve increasing levels of travel around the UK. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Create’s projects and will oversee our freelance professional artists at workshops and events.
All Create personnel and artists are required to have a DBS check, which Create will carry out upon appointment, and to work within our dress code.
